Creative Europe Desk Greece organised a two-day conference on 20 and 21 September 2023, with the participation of invited representatives of cultural and creative institutions from Greece and from the Creative Europe Desks of Norway Kreativt Europa Kulturdesk Norge, Estonia Loov Euroopa and Latvia Radošās Eiropas birojs Latvijā / Creative Europe Desk LV.
On Wednesday 20 September an event was held at the National Museum of Contemporary Art on “Digitisation and use of digital media and practices in Creative Europe projects.” Representatives of cultural and creative institutions that implemented projects with an emphasis on the use of digital media and practices spoke there. On the same day, a networking meeting between the participants took place in the Museum’s café, as well as a guided tour of the Museum’s temporary exhibition by the Museum’s Artistic Director, Ms. Katerina Gregos.
On Thursday 21 September the two-day event concentrated on the “Eleusis European Capital of Culture 2023.” The guests visited the Archaeological Site of Eleusis and then the Director of Cultural Development, Mrs. Georgia Voudouri, presented the Programme of the CIP. Then the workshop “Documentation and Evidence” was held, where the way of documenting the impact of cultural and creative actions by institutions and Creative Europe Offices was discussed, with the participation of academics and artists. The day ended with a tour inside the Capital of Culture and a guided tour of the exhibition Mystery 3 Elefsina Mon Amour. In Search of the Third Paradise. It was one of the most important activities of the Office and we thank all the participants for its successful conduct and completion.
